Love Like There Is No Tomorrow

Whatssss up everyone! Sorry its been a while! But YES I’m still alive! What a crazy couple weeks its been! This week is tranfers and I JUST RECIEVED the news on what the next part of my mission will look like... DUN DUN DUHHHH

It has been so amazing to watch the work progress here. At times I’ve felt as though I’m not making any sort of impact, but I know without a shadow of a doubt the Lord is making an impact on so many people here in Oaxaca! I also know for a fact my life and this mission are in the hands of the Lord as well!

But lets get into the fun stuff! As I’ve been here I’ve felt as though I’m getting used to all the weird stuff that happens. BUT my very favorite part of the past couple weeks happened this past Saturday and Sunday! As we were walking the streets as usual we see someone calling us over to talk! This doesn’t happen very often and when we get to the other side of the street WE MEET PEDRO!!! Pedro has down syndrome and only understands the native dialec from here. But you knowww that didn't stop me! He wants us to stop by the following week! Thats not all. We went out to pick up some people who said they need help to get to church, and when we stopped by nobodyyyy was there that said they would be! So you know what we did! I made sure we headed for Pedro! When we showed up he just runs up the stairs and comes back in 10 minutes after he got a nice ole shower and got all spiffied up for church BROTHER WAS LOOKING COLDDD. Dripped out for the occasion!

His family couldnt have been more grateful, and I was like why are you guys being thankful WE'RE THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE THANKING YOU!

We also have the most amazing family of 4 that is so ready to he baptized and I cant WAIT!!! They are seriously INCREDIBLE!

There is so much to say and I wish I had the words to say it but I have been thinking a bunch about this spiritual thought so I hope it touches just one persons heart. "Live every day like its your last!" You never know when the Lord will need you for his marvolous work on the other side. Theres not enough time to NOT to love like theres no tomorrow! Love EACH AND EVERY PERSON. How would the Savior love? My own words can’t possibly explain the emotions I feel on this topic. Dont let a day go by without telling your family how darn much you love them! Dont let a day go by without getting on your knees and giving thanks to your Father in Heaven! You dont know how much you love something until its gone! Ive learned that over the past little while without my family. I always considered myself overly grateful for my family. But I couldnt possibly explain how much more appreciation and absolute AMOR I have for the people that make me whole and turned me into the person I am today! So Momma! Dad! Grey! Lando! Lil! 
I LOVE YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! This will be my cry till the day I die! Im grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who sent me to the most amazing family!

FOR ME!!! I want each and every one of you to send a text or give someone a hug and tell them that you love them! Youll never regret it and I CAN PROMISE! A PROMISE! It WILL change a life!

Your all loved by a perfect Heavenly Father and you Savior Jesus Christ! And me too!

I have a lot of scrambled thoughts this week but I hope I can share them all without writing a whole darn novel. It was such an amazing week! So hard but so good. Always have to start with a funny story... duhhh. We went over to an investegators house to teach a lesson. Hes super old and speaks a native dialec called Zapoteco. He speaks spanish just with a really strong accent. Anyways, we get his house and he offers us some water. We didnt see where he got it from so we always have to ask so we dont get sick. He says its from the rain the other day so we were already a little skeptical, and then I look down at the water and its legit BROWN and its got random chunks floating in it. My comp is talking to him about it and this investigator starts going off becuase we're not drinking the water, he starts quoting scriptures about how everything from God is good yada yada yada. Loving The Work And Potatoes

Where is the time going?! The weeks are flying by. Im really not sure what exactly to write about. I’ll do my best to give you guys something. We've all heard the saying "you got a face only your mother could love" I think my emails are "emails only a mother could read". If you feel that way feel free to scroll down to the pictures . I gave my very first talk this week in church! With nothing prepared I got up and spoke over a pulpit with no microphone and somewhere along the way mustered up the ability to say "I love my family so much and miss them. Most of all I miss my potatoes". I meanttt to say parents but hey...I guess I miss potatoes too. I don't have any more funny stories but it really was an awesome week. I feel like I’m getting into the flow of being a missionary finally and I have officially completed ONE MONTH IN THE FIELD WOOOOOOO!!!!! FIRST WEEK IN THE FIELD

Mannn what a week! Probably the hardest week of my life if I'm being honest.  Lets just start with the good stuff... First day after I got my comp and assignment we got on a bus for a 7 hour ride to our area Tecnogloico, which is in Juchitan! We were about 4ish hours into our 7 hour bus ride when the bus just stopped. We werent sure why so after we waited half an hour we got out and figure out that there was a blockade. So people were protesting... protesting what I'm not sure. We made our way back to the bus to sit and wait for 2 more hours. As they all say here "Gracias A dios"(thanks to God) I thought they were saying Gracias Adios the whole time. But... a member from Morro, which is a neighboring mission came and picked us up to bring us closer to Juchitan so that our Bishop could come get us.
