I share this because I weight myself on Saturday and I officially have GAINED 12 WHOLE POUNDS!!

Its wild! I miss volleyball SOOOO much, Basketball doesnt do it for me.

Lets start with the funny stories of the week, learning spanish can be hard and SOOOO FUNNY! One of the Elders in my district is just nee to spanish so his pronounciation is a little off, and while he was sharing this week anout The Book of Mormon in spanish he said "Yo se que El Libro de Mormon is verde" with so much confidence he shared that the Book of Mormon is GREEN the word he was looking for was "verdadero" but it makes for some hilarious jokes!

I had some of the most life changing spiritual experiences this week! On Tuesday I got a little glimpse of the next two years. I was at my consulate for my visa, and me and a couple other Elders began talking to a woman just about random stuff, practicing or doo doo spanish whole she laughed at us. She was so kind and really tried to push us to learn new words. She headed off to her appointment and I just felt as though I needed to give her a Book of Mormon. A little back story, as we were getting out of the van I grabbed my bag with all my books and such inside, and had a weird feeling I needed to bring it although I wouldnt be needing any of its remenants during my consulate. Not knowing it was the spirit I followed the prompting. Now were back, I furiously scribbled a testimony in spanish and grabbed her right before she left. I never asked her name so I ran after her saying "Señora uno mas cosa! Uno mas cosa" I bore my testimony and handed her the 60 dollar Book of Morman🤷‍♂️ that was supposed to be my personal copy for the rest of my mission. My legs were shaking and my voice was trembling but i did it!

Along with every other missionary I get to share the Elder Bednar came and spoke with us at our Tuesday devotional!!! What a special expericance, it was so personal so intimate. Id just liek to share a couple quick things that I loved. First I know these are men called of God, no other person commands such a love and respect when they walk into a room. As he wasked in, instaneously 2000 foldable chairs snapped up and every missionary in sight was on there feet, thats a moment I'll never forget. Elder Bednar shared the importance of the Book of Mormon which has been the theme of my email this week. The Book of Mormon is our light in a dark and dreary world we weild the power of truth in light! Use it. It reminded me of a talk given by Tad R. Callister "Gods Compelling Witness: The Book of Mormon" its only 10 minutes! Give it a listen. Elder Bedner put the impossibility of the Book of Mormon into perspective I hadnt thought about before and that I'll try to convey in few words. He talked about a good friend and teacher at BYU that would assign his student in his Book of Mormon class an awesomw assignment on the first day of class. That was to write a 500-600 page book with intricate characters, interconnected and complicated stories, solve long standing theolgical questions and tons more in 2 months with no ability to rewrite a thing. While this seems impossible Joseph Smith did it all with little to no education quite literally impossible in every way shape and form! Yet he did it through the power of God. Maybe my favorite part from thing about Elder Bednar had nothing to do with his talk. After he was done speaking a member of the MTC Presidency was in tears, Elder Bednar with no hesitation got up out of his seat and gave him a hug. Selflessness something I strive to be better at each and every day! As Elder Bednar left we all got to our feet again and he turned and gave us a heart. And every missionary gave one back. What a life changing experiance!

I have so much more to share but I'll end it here. With my testimony that a 23 year old uneducated boy wrote the truest most correct book that will ever be written, only through the power of God. I know with 100% accertinty that the Book of Mormon is true. In my personal copy of the Book of Mormon in the testimony of the 3 witnesses I have crossed out the 3 and put a 4 and signed my name bellow theirs. I know of its truth! Im going to spend my whole life reading it and learning more but I know its blessed my life and can bless so many others! I say these things in My Savior My Redeemer Jesus Christ Amen.

Sharing this message 12 pounds heavier I hope it carries a little more wieght. I love you all and miss you all! Your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want you to return to them more than anything!
